I wish they threw in some SFO stickers or something though, hah... We kindda got the snowboarding bug and have visited pretty much all the stores in and around SF, also been to most of the online sites. SFO, despite the store is probably the smallest, got the best selections of pretty much everything. They got great discount on last year's models of gears too, and 10% off current-year model.

The hotel is located steps away from Waikiki beach, if this is your first time in Hawaii that's the beach you should check out. Also best for babes-watching according to my local friend. It is also a few blocks away from most shopping (like Leather Soul of Hawaii) and about 2 miles away from Aloha Rag.
We got a mountain-view room (vs beach view) coz it was slightly cheaper, it doesn't really matter coz you can just walk over to the beach if you wanna look at it. The room was pretty damn huge, had a king size bed, T-Mobile wifi access, an iHome for your iPods, flat screen TV, and a small balcony. Definitely not bad for the price and it was nice to have lots of extra space, a nice change from our small apartments in SF. If you join the free Hyatt Gold Passport program you get free coffee and newspaper daily. The locker is $3 daily, pretty reasonable. Our vacation package also came with free breakfast, which was really nice coz it is a pain to figure out what to eat more than once a day, and obviously most places aren't exactly cheap there. The free breakfast is not the best or anything, but not bad for the price. lol.
In the reception area there is a counter for Expedia "Local Experts". I was extremely busy at work before the vacation so I didn't have time to make plans on what to do there. Expedia Local Experts was really helpful, they were able to give us recommendations on activities and help us book tours and tickets and everything, you can bill directly to your room as well. They helped us with pretty much everything, Dole Plantation and North Shore tour, luaus, snorkeling, etc.
We ran out of time so we didn't get to try the spa in the hotel. The Local Experts actually suggested the spa at Hilton over the spa in the hotel, but we couldn't fit in an appointment with our schedule. next time.
They have exotic birds in the hotel, we loved them, they were just so cool, we visited them daily and we def miss them a lot when we left.
Overall we were real happy with Hyatt and Oahu was a ton of fun, highly recommended. We would def consider staying there again.

I don't really like dining in, at least not in the winter, coz the door is way too close to the tables and it gets real cold when people walk in and out of the place, which is very often coz it seems like 80% of their business are takeout...
oh they also delivery free of charge, but they might laugh if I tried that coz I really do live on top of them... they open til quite late, huge plus...
if they took amex i would give them 5 stars... visa/mc only unfortunately...
